[S2E13] Riot

At the start of the episode, Porter stops breathing as the standoff continues in Truman's office. Just as Truman orders his man to shoot Connor, Miles drops the Patriot soldier with a sniper rifle from a nearby rooftop. A minute later, Truman is cuffed to a radiator as Connor rushes to deliver the stock of antidote to Rachel. Charlie and Rachel hurriedly inject the sick as Connor heaves Porter into a wagon, then drives the Matheson women out of town to rendezvous with Miles and Monroe. Truman then doses himself with one of the remaining vials.

Days later, Porter is recovering, while Connor has formed a crush on Charlie, who has got his number. After the typhus scare, Monroe has decided the only chance of defeating the Patriots entails buying mercenaries from an old friend of his in New Vegas, warlord Duncan Page. After walking New Vegas' midway past a Bret Michaels performance, Monroe stops into the Diamondback Casino, where he used to work the fight ring. It turns out Duncan is a woman who clearly has a bad history with Monroe. She drives a hard bargain for her mercenaries: 30 diamonds a head, which Monroe does not have.

Returning home after their date, Miles and Rachel are stunned to find Neville waiting for them with the story that he is looking for revenge on the Patriots for the death of his wife. When Miles asks Jason for confirmation that Tom is telling the truth, he swears it on his mother's grave. Meanwhile, Monroe hatches a plot to rob the casino, run by the owner - and his former fight manager - Ely Gould. He will fight a bare-knuckle match so Charlie and Connor can rob the casino while all of Gould's men are occupied taking bets.

With Catwoman and the rest of the villains occupied in the brand new war zone that sprang forth from the ashes of Kite Man's wedding, Tim Burton is left briefly unattended - allowing Clayface to sing his heart out for him. Clayface sings beautifully and moves Tim Burton to tears until Catwoman arrives to collect him and escort him safely out of the chaos. The battle continues to rage while Clayface goes on singing; Cheetah takes down a cop like her namesake implies she would; Wendy Brown flies about the area and drops heavy objects on people; Darryl Brown blasts people with ice; Maxie Zeus unleashes lightning on the police with one hand while carrying Nora Freeze with another; Felix Faust sends Debbie into a Hell portal; and finally, Killer Croc rushes the riot police outside with support from Killer Frost, Livewire, Human-Flame, Man-Bat and Bane.

Left grounded in the mire they had wrought, Harley and Ivy are quickly stormed by a mob of riot police who have steadily been regaining ground through sheer numbers. They dive into a car and flee through the byzantine parking lot, with Gordon himself in hot pursuit and is rapidly joined by more support from the GCPD. While they flee, Harley suggests that Kite Man would come around, but Ivy has come to acknowledge the truth of his words and claims that even if he did, she won't. She admits that people change and says that principally about Harley herself, that Harley has become the person she always wanted her to be.

Cartman, having won the contest, has a large amount of prize money that he and the boys use on the ball-throwing game. The stall owner says he's going to be really nice and just give them the dolls for all their money. Kyle suddenly discovers that the dolls are a rip-off and declares shenanigans again. The whole town declares shenanigans due to being fed up with the festival being a complete bore and a riot breaks out.

We begin the season 1 finale of For Life with Wallace in prison lock-down and finding all of his belongings gone. Given he needs that to prep his case, it certainly poses another problem for him to tackle. At the same time, Glen Maskins tries to stifle the headache of Wallace getting his retrial and is encouraged to speak to Cyrus and obtain the footage of the riot inside the prison.

Here's what we know for sure: The fire was conveniently timed with the car to get Offred out. The chaos was such that Nick declared the streets "too dangerous" for Commander Waterford to go downstairs and catch Offred leaving. Now, Nick could just be lying through his teeth. But if the fire was started by a rebellious Martha who has warned to burn her situation to the ground, it could start a riot. 041b061a72
