Songs lyrics: Aa gaye adhoka par, Kaili gai apa, Apne sohan niklana, Bebule aa,.In the past few years the amount of reading material available to a person has increased dramatically. Publications as diverse as hardcover books, paperbacks, magazines, and periodicals are available for home consumption. The wide variety of choices has presented significant problems to the end user. Such a user must have available a place for storing the items which are read and a means to store and rapidly retrieve any of the items that are not immediately in use. It is also desirable that such a storage and retrieval system be as compact as possible and that the means for storage be as space efficient as possible.
There is a great deal of prior art directed to the specific problems of storing, accessing, and reading magazines. The following are representative of such systems.
U.S. Pat. No. 3,910,467 discloses a magazine storing, accessing, and reading system that permits a reader to read a desired magazine from a "shelf" while the rest of the magazines remain in storage. The shelves are slidably mounted and are stored in a closed, slideable drawer. When it is desired to access a magazine, the drawer is slid open to an open position. The magazines are individually housed in a longitudinally stacked configuration on a retractable shelf.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,216,744 discloses a magazine storage and retrieval system that permits the rapid retrieval of a desired magazine from a storage space. A magazine is placed on a lever which is connected to a spring biased carousel. As the carousel rotates a lever that is connected to the carousel engages a magazine causing the magazine to be lifted from the carousel and the magazine to be removed from the system. This mechanism does not permit the carousel to be loaded from the bottom of the magazine storage area.
