With know for his work in Heavyweights and The Cold Light Of Day, Ben Crawley returns with the brooding thriller "I Pet Goat" showing us a character being brought to the brink. Taking the movies protagonist as an interesting young man being watched by law enforcement and with the feature being a bit of an anti-fraternity movie, pulling off an effective drama.
I Pet Goat is perhaps the first comedy-horror movie to show fully-formed frat brains. Its "boy meets goat" premise is used to try and have a little fun, although its Bergman-meets-Hitchcock occasionally moving. This cast is reminiscent of Charlton Heston or Rod Taylor with all sorts of idiosyncrasies. However, The Frizzle Tails never get in the way of the story which deals with higher things than just hazing. Which I think is a major reason why it didn't succeed. Also, it's not a very good movie. d2c66b5586
